My love of photography was greatly inspired by my dad.  Wherever he took us, he had is Canon film camera with him.  He had a variety of lenses and was always experimenting with different equipment.  I grew up with photography being a predominate part of my life.  Soon, I too, always had my camera with me wherever I went.  In high school, I shot a majority of photos for the school newspaper.  When transitioning to college, at first I was unsure of what I wanted to pursue.  After considering traditional majors and not really wanting to follow a path of passion, the obvious choice was photography.  I studied photography as a fine art form for the next five years to come gaining a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography from Point Park University.

My senior thesis showed my interest for the outdoors, which I continue to combine and showcase in my portraiture photography.  I enhance the subject by putting them in an atmosphere rather than in front of a blank canvas.  My philosophy is: The world is our canvas, why not use it?

Today, I still have my camera at hand all the time.  My husband can attest along with my favorite subjects, my sons.  Please let my portfolio section of my website be a way to view my love for photography and the outdoors.  I am privileged to have the beautiful Pennsylvanian landscapes to assist me in making my sessions astonishing. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected].  I limit the amount of sessions that are booked to keep sessions personal and location specific.  I look forward to share my love of photography with you.
